Employers are required to pay the superannuation of their employees for the December 2016 quarter by 28 January 2017.

If the superannuation is not paid by the 28 January 2017 then the employer will be required to complete a superannuation guarantee charge statement and lodge this with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).  Payment will also have to be made to the ATO.
