According to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) a PAYG Payment Summary will need to completed if the trustee has: 1.    Made superannuation income stream payments, including superannuation income stream lump sum in arrears payments; and 2.    The member is aged under 60 years of age; and 3.    The member is aged 60 years and above and the taxable component contains an untaxed element.   PAYG Payment Summary will not be required if: 1.    You are over 60 years of age and the superannuation benefit is made up from a taxed source; 2.    The purchase price (member's balance) does not include a taxable component; 3.    The pension is death benefit and the deceased was over 60 years of age.
